The Hauora team provide kaupapa māori wrap-around services for the health and wellbeing of you and your whānau.
Kaupapa Māori Nursing Service: Te Rūnanga o Whaingaroa runs a walk-in Kaupapa Māori Nursing Service from the Te Pokāpu clinic in Kaeo. We can support the following:
- COVID-19 Supervised Tests – RATs and PCR
- COVID-19 Vaccine and Booster
- Flu vaccine
- Cervical Screening
- Sonography (by appointment)
- Bloods
- Health care advice, support, and follow up
- Referrals to other health services
- Health promotion events
Our Kaupapa Māori Mobile Nursing Service also has an Outreach service for all whànau in the Whangaroa region prioritising:
- Kuia and Kaumatua (over 65)
- Whànau with underlying health conditions
- Hapù màmà
- Whànau that are isolated or without access to transportation.
